Police rule out murder-suicide in Las Vegas couple’s deaths

What was being investigated as a possible murder-suicide involving an older couple is now being called a natural death followed by a suicide, Las Vegas police said Thursday evening.

According to reports, a man and a woman were found dead about noon in the 3700 block of South Nellis Boulevard, near Desert Inn Road and Boulder Highway.

Homicide Lt. Lew Roberts said it appears the man died from natural causes and the woman appears to have committed suicide by taking pills. Roberts said the man and woman, who were not identified, were in their late 80s and early 90s. They might have been dead since late last month, he said.
