Man who jumped to death from Strip hotel identified

A 25-year-old man who died after jumping from The Cosmopolitan was identified Monday.

Sean Campe of Collingswood, N.J., jumped from a ledge on the 14th story of the Strip’s newest hotel early Friday.

Las Vegas police received reports at 4:45 a.m. of a suicidal man at the hotel.

Officers tried to negotiate with the man, who was not a resident of the Las Vegas area, but he jumped at 6:26 a.m.
