Rickles bringing insults to Orleans

The Hockey Puck is going for some kind of record here, and the love of you people can help him get there.

Don Rickles has played Las Vegas every year (best as anyone can tell) since 1959, when he first started working the Sahara lounge. That’s right, the Sahara.

Until it’s clear whether the Sahara will reopen under the same name after it closes in May, there’s a very good chance the original gangsta of insult comedy, who turns 85 in May, will outlast the place he started in on the Strip.

Rickles will pick on you at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave. Tickets $82.50-$110; call 365-7075.
