Attendance at the 2010 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas grew 4 percent inside the exhibit hall and conference.
Organizers said 15,744 attendees, which includes casino industry executives and slot floor officials, visited the G2E tradeshow at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Overall attendance, which includes tradeshow workers, media and other gaming industry individuals, was up slightly from 2009 to 24,941 attendees.
The tradeshow and conference, the gaming industry’s largest annual event, took place in November.
The 2011 G2E is moving to the Sands Expo Center and will be held Oct. 4-6.
G2E is produced by the Washington, D.C.-based American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions.
“I can say without reservation that this was our best showing ever,” said Bally Technologies Chief Operating Officer Gavin Isaacs.
Tradeshow organizers say moving G2E to October will allow exhibitors more breathing room between major international gaming events. G2E officials said the change will give purchasing decision-makers at gaming companies more time for year-ahead planning.
