Man arrested in connection with Henderson burglary

A man was arrested late Tuesday night in connection with a home burglary on Monday night, Henderson police said in a statement.

At about 9:45 p.m. Monday, a male and female resident heard a noise inside their home in the 2300 block of Villandry Court, police said. The man went to investigate and found Michael Krupnik, 28, in the second-floor hallway.

He chased Krupnik down the stairs and into the garage, police said. Once inside the garage, the men fought. Krupnik eventually escaped through the house’s front door.

Henderson Police responded and searched the neighborhood with K9 and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Air support, but Krupnik was not found.

About 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, a Henderson police found Krupnik. A patrol officer stopped and arrested him. He was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on one count of burglary and one count of home invasion.
