Circus Vargas offers free shows to jobless

Families of unemployed Southern Nevadans can catch a free weekday show by Circus Vargas, which sets up its Big Top at the Galleria at Sunset mall, 1300 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, this week.

The circus will permit two adults and two children of unemployed family members to be admitted free to any weekday performance. Free tickets can be picked up an hour before the show by presenting a layoff notice or unemployment check stub to the box office.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. today and Friday; 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; 12:30, 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday; and 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Regular tickets are priced from $25 to $60 for those age 11 and older and $15 to $50 for children ages 2-10. Tickets are on sale by phone at (877) 468-3861, online at www.circusvargas.com or at the Big Top.

Thirty minutes before each show, fans can get a peek into the world of Circus Vargas.
