Woman struck by pickup truck identified

A woman in a wheelchair who died after she was struck by a pickup last month was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner’s office as Chong Kriss, 65.

Kriss, from Las Vegas, was on Oquendo Road about 6 p.m. Dec. 17, near Eastern Avenue and Russell Road, when she was struck.

Investigators determined she was at fault.

Kriss died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

Police said there was no evidence the driver of the Nissan Frontier involved in the collision was impaired.
