Las Vegas police officers identified in fatal shooting

Las Vegas police have identified the four SWAT officers who exchanged gunfire and killed a suspected burglar near Grand Canyon and Grand Teton drives in the northwest valley shortly after midnight Thursday.

The officers are Dave Reid, 50, who has 24 years experience with the department; Anton Gorup, 42 with 16 years experience; Leaareon Fincher, 44, 15 years experience; and William Marx, 40, 13 years experience.

The four veteran officers are on paid leave as police investigate the shooting.

Information about the suspect has not been released. He reportedly shot at police first, was shot and died at the scene.
