Man, 46, killed trying to cross I-15

A man was struck and killed by a truck while trying to walk across Interstate 15 on Friday morning.

The 46-year-old man, who was not identified, was trying to cross northbound I-15 at Flamingo Road at about 1:30 a.m. when he was hit by a black Nissan truck, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The man died at the scene.

The driver of the truck complained of injuries but was not taken to the hospital.

Police were still investigating.

The Clark County coroner’s office will identify the man.
