MUSIC

Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave., will present an interfaith concert with Ken Medema at 7:30 p.m. May 14. The concert will benefit Family Promise of Las Vegas. In advance, general admission tickets are $25 and VIP seating is $35. Tickets at the door will be $30 to $40 respectively. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (638-8806).

EVENTS

Christ Church Episcopal, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, and Huntridge Teen Clinic will present the Spring Art and Music Festival today. The event will feature fine art, champagne, hors d’oeuvres and music. The art festival will be 3-6:30 p.m. An organ concert by Ty Woodward will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for the art festival, and $40 for the art festival and concert. Proceeds will benefit Huntridge Teen Clinic and Christ Church Episcopal (684-7746 or 735-7655).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will have its annual Parking Lot, Patio & Bake Sale 9 a.m.-1 p.m. May 14. Food and snacks will be available (732-2052).

St. George’s Anglican Church, 7676 W. Gilmore, Ave., will have a celebration for St. George’s Day on May 15. The 10:30 a.m. Mass will be followed by a barbecue. Lunch is $5 for ages 12 and older, free for children younger than 12 (395-4576).
