Reward offered for leads in homicide outside Las Vegas bank

The family of a man shot and killed outside a Las Vegas bank last month have donated $5,000 to Crime Stoppers in his honor.

Amanpreet Singh, 31, of North Las Vegas, was killed about 4:30 p.m. March 30 outside a Wells Fargo bank near Sunset Road and Eastern Avenue.

Police said Singh, who worked at a nearby convenience store and made frequent deposits, was probably targeted in a robbery.

The family made the donation in hopes Singh’s slaying will be solved. Police have few leads in the case.

Two men driving a white, four-door Dodge Stratus are suspected in the crime. Police found the car near the scene. The suspects also might have used a silver Ford F-150 with no bed cover or camper shell.

Anyone who might have seen the suspects that day in either vehicle can contact Las Vegas police homicide detectives at 828-3521 or leave anonymous tips with Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or crimestoppersofnv.com.
