Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 – 1 mile (turf) Purse $28,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
4 Champagne Topper – Could be lone speed in his turf debut; big rider switch to the more established Brice Blanc.
6 Warren’s Warehouse – Outran his enormous 97/1 odds in last when third in turf debut; a career-best race for him.
Long Shot – 5 Run Candy Run
Race 2 – 5 furlongs, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds
5 Gutshot Straight – Ran against tougher last spring at Hollywood; Peter Miller is good at long layoff horses.
1 You Bettor Beware – When the ones with experience look questionable, eye the FTS; Craig Dollase needs to get off the duck.
Long Shot – 2 Cadillac Coach
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
5 Kahlua Mkist – Shown improvement since claimed by Vladimir Cerin; has multiple wins which has to be a plus.
1 Dextera – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this career-low class; like the turn back in distance to finish strong.
Long Shot – 3 Our Bellini Bikini
Race 4 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $26,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up
1 The Hunt Is On – Did everything but win last time; saves all the ground under Rafael Bejarano.
3 State Gathering – Unknown factor making his U.S. debut; first with Lasix after a drug-free career in England.
Long Shot – 7 B’s Lucky Strike
Race 5 – 1 mile, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
8 Full Strength – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; been away 11 months.
7 Afleet Cowboy – Much-improved try in last when P Val took over; similar effort gives him a fighting chance.
Long Shot – 6 Trueno
Race 6 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $56,000, Allowance, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
3 Adam Suances – Dead-late closer helped by the turf rail at zero; key will be if he sees enough early pace.
1 He’s a Dance Star – Hate the rail post down the hillside course; he makes sense though and has Rafael Bejarano.
Long Shot – 5 Le’ Heat
Race 7 – 6 furlongs, Purse $22,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds
1 Brereton Park – Suspect Rafael Bejarano can take his time and sit behind pacesetters; big class drop will help.
8 Wholelotacongrats – Tepid chalk in a wide-open affair; sliding down in class and outside post can be a positive.
Long Shot – 5 Classy Lion
Race 8 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), $100,000 La Puente, 3-year-olds
2 Surrey Star – Dirt experiment is over, back on preferred surface; no telling how good he can be back on grass.
1 Jakesam – Tepid chalk in another wide-open race; first turf, but his synthetic form is strong, a very good sign.
Long Shot – 6 Major Art
Race 9 – 7 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 4-year-olds and up
9 Twoatten Tenattwo – Shown steady improvement with each career start; can improve one more step to get his photo taken.
8 Warrens Wild Thing – Has run two good seconds since Chantal Sutherland took over; he is clearly knocking on the door.
Long Shot – 10 Gaelic Glory
Best Bet – 3 Adam Suances (race 6)
Santa Anita Park Saturday – Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 21/7/$59.20; Long Shots, 10/1/$20.40; Best Bet, 1/1/$2.80

SIMULCAST PICK OF THE DAY – 1 Enrichment (4/1) in race 7 at Keeneland. For scoring purposes, we’ll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Saturday, Royal Courier ran out at Aqueduct. Stats – 60/43/$347.20
