MUSIC

Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, will present the Mountaintop Faith Ministries Gospel Choir led by Joseph Pigee at 7:30 p.m. today, and the Celebrity City Chorus at 7:30 p.m. June 4. Both concerts are free (454-8484).

Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave., will present "The Best of Broadway" concert at 1:30 p.m. June 5. Performers will include John A. Smith, Ruthie Lombardo, Philip Goldstein and Shirley Monzo. The concert is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the church’s El Salvador mission (458-2241).

EVENTS

The youth council of Green Valley Presbyterian Church will host a swap meet and car wash 7 a.m.-noon today at 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson. Proceeds will benefit the Food Bank Benefit Concert to be held July 20 at the church (454-8484).

St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 1920 N. Martin Luther King Blvd., will have a Parking Lot Rummage Sale 7 a.m.-3 p.m. today (648-6606).

The Rock Christian Church will have a free community barbecue 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Nevada Trails Park, 7075 Mardon Ave. The event will feature games and activities for all ages, prizes and food (340-9202).

Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Our Lady of the Rosary will have their annual bunco event noon-3 p.m. June 4 in the Ave Maria Center at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Tickets are $12, and include lunch and a door prize entry. Proceeds will go toward assisting the disadvantaged (458-8578).

The Jewish Family Service Agency will host the Tzedakah Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 5 at the Four Seasons, 3960 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The brunch will honor "Everyday Heroes" for their contributions to the community. Reservations are $100. For tickets, call 732-0304.

CLASSES

Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development, 8072 W. Sahara Ave., will offer a two-day workshop with author Helen Palmer on "The Enneagram of Relationships: How different types of people love and work with each other" 10 a.m.-5 p.m. June 9-10. The fee is $200, inclusive of both days. Registration is $20 and is credited toward the fee (243-4040).

SINGLES GROUPS

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church has a singles luncheon for ages 60 and older the first Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. at Black Mountain Grill, 11021 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson (796-1953).
