Las Vegas-based Affinity Gaming on Thursday reopened its St. Jo Frontier Casino riverboat in St. Joseph, Mo., which had been closed since June due to Missouri River floods.
The small casino, which has 11 table games and 550 slot machines, is one of two casinos the company operates in Missouri.
Affinity, formerly known as Herbst Gaming, has 15 casinos in Nevada, Missouri and Iowa.
The new health center, which will employ around 200, will provide services with no copay or prescription costs.
The Las Vegas Strip hotel is upgrading more than 4,200 rooms and suites, according to the property’s operator.
The restaurant’s debut has been among the most anticipated in Vegas since word emerged in November 2023 that the “Top Chef” winner would be coming here.
“It’s going to be a full redesign of the 3,000-room Mirage Tower, a full redesign of the casino, a redesign of the pool, and there will be an additional pool for the guitar tower,” Frank Casella told the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
The valley woman is suing the property, saying it failed to provide a safe pedestrian walkway.
