Caesars finance chief will join board at Dave & Buster’s

Caesars Entertainment Corp. Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Halkyard will join the board of the directors of restaurant chain Dave & Buster’s Inc.

Along with Halkyard, Dallas-based Dave & Busters announced Friday it also appointed Norwegian Cruise Lines President Kevin Sheehan to the six-person board.

Halkyard joined Caesars in 1999, when the company was known as Harrah’s Entertainment. Prior to joining the casino company, he held several leadership positions in corporate development and operations with Landmark Communications.

Dave & Buster’s operates 56 locations, which combines restaurant service with arcade-style games and entertainment. The company has operations in 24 states and Canada.
