Dining pick of the week: Super Burrito

Burritos have become a staple of the American diet, and the Super Burrito, aka Super B, is a large flour tortilla filled with beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, choice of meat and pico de gallo salsa. Those meat choices are green chile pork, flame grilled beef, sausage, lengua (tongue), vegetarian and ham. The Breakfast Burrito, which now can be found at restaurants everywhere, has beans, cheese and choice of ham, steak or chorizo. There are regular tacos and super soft tacos, flour quesadilla with meat, super nachos and even a Super Bowl filled with yellow rice, pinto beans and choice of meat. Tortas (sandwiches) are made on grilled round French bread with choice of meat, beans and lettuce. You also can enjoy tostadas, corn quesadilla, guacamole with chips and platos, combo plates with rice, beans, meat, lettuce, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa, sour cream and flour or corn tortilla. Fresh fruit beverages (seasons) include mango, pineapple, watermelon, strawberry and cantaloupe. The Super Burrito starts at $5.95, and tacos begin at $1.25. Super Burrito is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
