St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and K|E Centers for Advanced Medicine are teaming to bring executive physical examinations to Southern Nevada.
"We are collaborating with some of the region’s finest physicians and specialists, each well regarded for their clinical excellence," Rod Davis, president and CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and senior vice president of operations for CHW Nevada, said in a statement. "This new diagnostic and treatment offering will create a consolidated, efficient resource for specialty care in the area of annual executive physical examinations and will add a new dimension to the high quality medical services available in Southern Nevada."
An executive physical goes beyond the usual exam to focus on and assess health risks. These risks include the patient’s lifestyle, genetic history, medical history and screening for cardiovascular, pulmonary and endocrine problems.
Southern Nevada residents now must travel hundreds of miles for such exams. The executive exams will be held in a new 20,000-square-foot clinic across the street from St. Rose Dominican Hospitals-San Martín Campus. The Center is scheduled to open in mid-November.
"When we began to research areas and patient populations that could immediately benefit from The K|E Centers executive physical and these quality diagnostic resources, Las Vegas presented a great opportunity," said Dr. Robert Koblin, co-founder of K|E Centers for Advanced Medicine. "We hope that by introducing this service to the community, we will create a value-added experience for patients seeking these highly specialized and comprehensive exams."
