Stefani Lindenberg, 12, participated in the 2011 Miss Pre-Teen Las Vegas pageant on Oct. 23.

A student at Fertitta Middle School, Stefani enjoys volleyball, karate, pingpong, ice skating, dancing, rock climbing, cheerleading and driving dune buggies.

Randy Lee graduated from Air Force basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio on Oct. 21.

A 2011 graduate of Rancho High School Academy of Aviation, Lee is the son of Mark Goldstrom, a retired Air Force technical sergeant and master sergeant, and Valerie Goldstrom, both of Las Vegas.

Jessica A. Kirvin, 20, has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson in South Carolina.

She completed technical training and will be a financial management technician.

Kirvin, a 2009 graduate of Legacy High School, is the daughter of Torrye Walker of North Las Vegas and Myron Kirvin of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Ashley Lysha K. Ulgaran has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. A 2010 graduate of Chaparral High School, Ulgaran is the daughter of Mario and Prudence Ulgaran of Las Vegas.

Jonathan Robert Brimhall has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

Brimhall enjoys snowboarding, dirt biking, football, BMX and playing electric guitar.

He is the son of Darin and Kristen Brimhall of Henderson.

Charnell Rosett-Lucille Cain of Las Vegas “received her white coat,” marking her entrance into medical school, at a ceremony at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tenn., on Sept. 24.

Cain is a first-year osteopathic medical student at the university.

Lucila C. Nual of Las Vegas has earned an associate in science in nursing degree from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.

Brent M. Landis, an Army National Guard member, has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga.

A 2006 graduate of Durango High School, Landis earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2010.

Zach Zeller, 14, won a gold medal in the division 3 men’s epee event at the North American Cup Fencing Tournament in Richmond, Va., in October.

He also won fifth place in the division 2 men’s epee event.

Zach has been fencing for six years and trains at the Fencing Academy of Nevada with fencing masters Yves Auriol and Jacques LaCour.

Zach, who is homeschooled, is the son of Rick and Lydia Zeller of Henderson.
