Delta flight returns to McCarran because of possible cracked windshield

A Delta Air Lines flight returned to McCarran International Airport on Friday shortly after departing because of a possible cracked windshield, airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said.

Delta Flight 44, which was headed to New York City, departed at 10:31 a.m. The Boeing 737 returned to McCarran after pilots reported the crack. The plane landed at 11:36 a.m.

Crews said 163 people were on board the flight, and no one was injured.
