MUSIC
The 14th Annual Concert of Christmas will be presented at 7 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive. The church’s 40-voice choir with orchestra will perform, with Tim Cooper at the organ and piano. Dave Courvoisier will be the narrator. The program is free, and a nursery will be provided (384-1544).
Dr. David Dorway and Friends will present a Christmas concert at 1 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. The program will include sacred and contemporary instrumental and vocal selections. The concert is free (384-4554).
"Sing We All Noel" will be the theme of the Choral Artists of Southern Nevada concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Anthem Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2497 Cozy Hill Circle, Henderson. The concert will be repeated at 7 p.m. Monday at the Highland Hills LDS chapel, 3350 W. Alexander Road, North Las Vegas. The concerts are free.
Trinity United Methodist Church, 6151 W. Charleston Blvd., will present the Christmas cantata "Celebrate the Season" with its combined choirs and an orchestra at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday (870-4747).
The music and drama ministries of Shadow Hills Baptist Church will present the 2011 Singing Christmas Tree "A Christmas to Remember" at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Dec. 16 at 7811 Vegas Drive. Admission is free. Child care will be provided through age 4 on property (880-7811).
Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave., will host the Celebrity City Chorus holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Doors open at 7:10 p.m. Admission is $10, ages 5 and younger are free (458-2241).
The music department of Holy Trinity AME Church will present the cantata "Christmas, Sing Noel" at 4:45 p.m. Dec. 17 at 700 Lola Ave., North Las Vegas (877-0790).
The Desert Winds Wind Ensemble will perform "A Winter Celebration" at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 N. Pavilion Center Drive. The concert will feature a variety of traditional and new holiday music. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted (625-2787).
Christ Church Episcopal, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will present a handbell choir concert directed by Janet Ty at 4 p.m. Dec. 18. A freewill offering will be taken (735-7655).
Israeli singers Barry and Batya Segal will perform familiar holiday and Messianic songs at 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at Four Seasons Church of Las Vegas, 2890 S. Durango Drive, Suite 103. The performance also will feature a presentation about their ministries Vision for Israel and the Joseph Storehouse (431-5892). The Segals also will perform a holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 24 at Lev HaShem Messianic Congregation, 3644 N. Rancho Drive (869-8983).
SERVICES
Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd., is offering Advent services at 7 p.m. Wednesdays. A free supper will be available before each service at 5:30 p.m. (645-4998).
Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will offer a Healing Service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. and a Service of Carols at 9:30 a.m. Christmas Day (732-2052).
Congregation P’nai Tikvah will offer a Hanukkah celebration and service at 6 p.m. Friday at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation Building at the southwest corner of Maryland Parkway and Cottage Grove Avenue. The celebration will include food, music, games and a kosher-style dairy dinner. Tickets are $18 for adults; $12 for children. Space is limited (436-4900).

St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church will have its annual fall holiday craft sale featuring handmade afghans, scarves, hats, baby sweaters, dishcloths, towels, baked goods, religious items and other items, 2-7 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, at 204 S. The Redrock Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will present "The Nativity," a 25-minute production of the account of Jesus Christ’s birth, with live music and Nativity displays, at the following times: 6, 7:30 and 9 p.m. today, Friday and Dec. 17; and 6 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Opportunity Village Engelstad campus, 6050 S. Advent United Methodist Church, 3460 N. Rancho Drive, will offer the Christmas program "Bethlehem Village" 5-9 p.m. today. The interactive experience will have attendees immerse themselves into the city of Bethlehem the night Jesus was born. The event will include village shops, a live Nativity, live music and dance. The Christmas story will be told at 6, 7, and 8 p.m. (adventumclv.com).
The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada will present Camp K’helah, a winter break program for children ages 3 and older, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 19-30 at the organization’s Summerlin campus, 9001 W. Hillpointe Road. The program will include hikes, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, and other activities. Preschool children will remain on campus during the camp. As part of the Winter in Venice celebration, The Venetian will host Jewish Community Night from 9 to 11 Dec. 22 at 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The fee is $36 and includes two hours of ice skating and riding the outdoor gondolas, kosher-style hors d’oeuvres, beverages and music. The event is for ages 21 and older. MEETINGS
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Las Vegas/Henderson will have a gathering at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jane Bramadat at Midbar Kodesh Temple, 1640 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson. "Blue and Gold Christmas" will be the topic, followed by a new- member orientation at 8 p.m. (437-2404).
