Ghostbar at Palms a hot spot for reality-TV celebrities

If your “Jersey Shore” itch can’t be scratched by countless reruns of the MTV reality show, try an up-close-and-personal cure at ghostbar at the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road.

DJ Pauly D, one of the “Jersey Shore” stars, is scheduled to make appearances at the club Saturday and Wednesday. Since opening 10 years ago, ghostbar has been a major hot spot for reality-show celebrities, founder George Maloof says.

But the club’s view of the city has been the real star attraction.

“There’s just something about when you walk in and see that view,” Maloof says. “No one’s been able to duplicate it. It’s still my favorite place to go just to have a drink and see the city of Las Vegas. That view cannot be replaced.”

Last month, ghostbar launched GBDC — ghostbar dayclub. It’s an indoor dayclub that aims to replicate the pool-party vibe without the pool. Guests will be treated to music spun by DJ Zen Freeman and a series of activities that would put a cruise ship purser to shame, including pinata smashing and beer pong. The festivities kick off at 1 p.m. Saturdays. Cover is $25.

Snitch Wednesdays are still going strong with resident DJs Dave Fogg and DJ M!KEATTACK spinning hip-hop mash-ups, top 40 and indie. Cover is $20 per person; all local ladies with ID get in free.

Industry nights are Sundays at 10 p.m. Musical duties rotate between Zen Freeman, Brandon Kent and DJ M!KEATTACK, all spinning house music. Cover is $25 per person; all local ladies with ID get in free.
