Here’s the 2016 Nevada All-State volleyball team

First Team

Shilo Chow, Foothill

The senior setter was one of Southern Nevada’s most versatile players. He finished with 1,020 assists, 185 digs, 172 kills, 124 blocks and 72 aces in leading the Falcons to a state runner-up finish.

Treven Clizbe, Arbor View

The junior outside hitter had 614 kills (5.0 per set), 39 aces, 39 blocks and 259 digs for the Sunset Region champions.

Marty Heavey, Valley

The senior outside hitter had 459 kills, 51 aces, 34 blocks and 193 digs for the Vikings.

Tyler Jacob, Foothill

The senior opposite/outsider hitter had 266 kills and 63 blocks to help the Falcons reach the Division I state final match.

Chase Larson, Green Valley

The senior middle blocker had 304 kills, 102 blocks and 21 aces for the Division I state champions.

James Reed, Green Valley

The junior outside hitter had 380 kills, 44 aces, 44 blocks and 203 digs for the Division I state champions.

Jacob Scheer, Palo Verde

The senior libero averaged 21.9 serve receives per match and finished with 392 digs and 37 aces for the Sunset Region runners-up.

Lamont Traylor, Rancho

The senior outside hitter finished with 524 kills, 224 digs, 54 blocks and 36 aces this season for the Rams.

Brenden Wagner, Arbor View

The junior middle hitter had 548 kills, 41 aces, 35 blocks and 230 digs for the Sunset Region champions.

Jason Zambrano, Mojave

The senior setter, who was named the Sunset League’s Most Valuable Player, finished with 834 assists, 43 aces, 42 kills and 209 digs to lead the Rattlers to a third consecutive Division I-A state title.

Second Team

Michael Diggins, Durango

The senior outside hitter had 420 kills, 177 digs, 48 blocks and 35 aces or the Trailblazers.

Clayton Fontano, Mojave

The senior outside hitter had 225 kills, 52 aces, 49 blocks and 212 digs for the three-time defending Division I-A state champions.

Zachary Hewitt, Green Valley

The senior setter/outside hitter had 986 assists, 96 kills, 45 blocks, 39 aces and 150 digs or the Division I state champions.

Brandon Kampshoff, Las Vegas

The junior outside hitter had 346 kills, 32 blocks, 26 aces and 203 digs for the Northeast League’s top team.

Grant Nelson, Centennial

The senior setter had 532 assists (8.2 per set), 35 kills, 22 blocks, 20 aces and 127 digs for the Bulldogs.

Michael Prescia, Arbor View

The senior libero had 648 digs (5.3/set) and 41 aces for the Sunset Region champions.

Jonathan Rolle, Foothill

The senior middle blocker had 179 kills and 147 blocks for the state runner-up Falcons.

Scott Solan, Palo Verde

The freshman opposite hitter had 242 kills and 55 blocks to lead the Panthers back to the Division I state tournament.

Absalon Williams, Mojave

The senior middle blocker had 188 kills and 73 blocks for the three-time defending Division I-A state champions.

Luis Wong, Las Vegas

The senior setter had 993 assists, 136 digs, 31 aces, 29 kills and 26 blocks for the Wildcats.

Coach of the Year

Emily Baracco, Green Valley

Green Valley won the Sunrise Region title for the first time since 2000 and secured its first state championship. The Gators (31-7) also improved on last season’s win total by 13 wins.
