Clubs streaming music by DJ-producers
Call it marketing, or call it free music. Either way, Vegas’ top three DJ nightclubs let you download or stream music by their famous DJ-producers on iTunes.
The Marquee Las Vegas Podcast ranges from an hour to 2½ hours every few weeks, starring sets by such acts as Gabriel & Dresden, Benny Benassi and Avicii.
The Surrender Nightclub Las Vegas podcast features Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris and other DJs who have residencies there.
And XS nightclub has so far posted just a few concert sets, by Funkagenda and DJ Warren Peace.
The Palms’ N9NE Group doesn’t have a podcast on iTunes, but Palms’ staple DJ Zen Freeman has posted a few free podcasts.
If you’re unfamiliar with podcasts, they’re easier to access than paid albums. Open your iTunes, click on iTunes Store, type the club name’s podcast into the search hole, then download for free. No fuss, no muss.
