MUSIC

First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd., will present the Vanguard University of Southern California Concert Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble at 6 p.m. today (384-4554).

EVENTS

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., “New Beginnings” series will continue at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with a discussion on “Christian Basics — God the Son.” A light meal will be served following the event (732-2052).

The Presbyterian Women’s Rummage Sale will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-noon March 24 at First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Proceeds will help support mission projects (384-4554).

Summerlin Lutheran Church, 1911 Pueblo Vista Drive, will offer its Good Friday service at 7 p.m. April 6, and Easter Sunday services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. April 8, with breakfast between services (254-8431).

Summerlin Presbyterian Church, 4590 S. Hualapai Way, will offer the following Easter services: Palm Sunday at 10:30 a.m. April 1; Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m. April 5; and Easter Sunday at 10:30 a.m. April 8 (243-0780).

MEETINGS

The Las Vegas Lay Dominicans will have an inquiry meeting at 9:30 a.m. March 24, followed by their monthly meeting with prayer, formation activities and a Communion service, 10:30 a.m.-noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Newman Community, 4765 Brussels St.

The St. Margaret of Cortona Secular Franciscans Fraternity of Las Vegas meets at 12:30 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at Pace E Bene offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. (453-2417).

CLASSES
