Ex-Walt Disney Co. exec named finance chief for slotmaker IGT

Slot machine maker International Game Technology named a former executive from the Walt Disney Co. as its new chief financial officer.

John Vandemore was appointed CFO Thursday, replacing Pat Cavanaugh, the company’s CFO for the past three years, who leaves Friday.

Vandemore comes to IGT from The Walt Disney Co., where served as CFO of Walt Disney Imagineering, which develops Disney’s theme parks.

Vandemore has nearly two decades of financial experience from the Walt Disney Co., AlixPartners, Goldman Sachs, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
