SAMMY’S 6500 TAVERN TO HOST BOWL BASH

The 6500 Tavern at Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, 6500 W. Sahara Ave., plans to host its sixth annual Bowl Bash at 2 p.m. Sunday for the Super Bowl.

Two-for-one drink specials will be featured, along with half-priced tapas from Sammy’s menu. There will be cash and NFL merchandise drawings during the game.

Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill is offering Valentine’s Day Pizza Making Kits starting at $5.50 for traditional.

The kits feature dough (whole wheat is available for $6.50 and gluten-free for $8.50), fresh homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Guests can purchase a special blend of herbs and pepperoni for $1. Each kit is packaged in a Valentine’s Day-themed container.

Project Dinner Table has released its event schedule for 2012.

Dinners are scheduled for the following Saturdays: April 14, May 19, June 30, Sept. 8, Oct. 13 and Nov. 11. Dates are subject to change.

RAMPART CASINO RESTAURANTS PLAN VALENTINE’S DAY MENUS

The Carmel Room at the Rampart Casino, 221 N. Rampart Blvd., plans to offer a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner after 5 p.m. Feb. 10-14.

Starter choices are seafood cocktail, seared scallops or prosciutto Caesar salad, followed by raspberry Chambord sorbet. Entree choices are lobster-stuffed halibut, filet mignon or mixed grille with chicken breast, Wagyu short rib and lamb chop. Dessert is Molten Red Velvet Cake with vanilla bean ice cream. The cost is $55 per person.

The Champagne Sweetheart Dinner for Two also is available and features the three-course menu along with a bottle of Gloria Ferrer champagne. It is $135.

The Promenade Café plans to offer a three-course menu from 3 to 11 p.m. Feb. 14.

Appetizer choices are Caprese salad or wild mushroom soup. Entree choices are Surf & Turf (filet mignon and shrimp scampi), pan-seared halibut or oven-roasted Cornish hen. Dessert is tiramisu with raspberry sauce and toffee crumbles.

The cost varies by entree. Surf & Turf is $31.99, pan-seared halibut is $21.99 and oven-roasted Cornish hen is $14.99.

The Rampart Buffet plans to offer a Valentine’s Day buffet from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 14, featuring endless champagne and Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee at the desserts action station. The cost is $14.99.

FLEMING’S PRIME STEAKHOUSE PLANS THREE-DAY VALENTINE’S CELEBRATION

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 8721 W. Charleston Blvd., plans to host a three-day Valentine’s Celebration Feb. 12-14.

Three special entrees will be available: filet mignon and prawns, prime New York strip and king crab, and colossal North Atlantic lobster tail and lobster mac and cheese. Each will be $69.95. Dessert for two, Red Velvet cake with espresso truffles, is $9.50.

Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant has unveiled new made-from-scratch entrees.

New items include California Cobb flatbread, BLT flatbread, crab-stuffed yellowtail sole, lemon-crusted yellowtail sole and Farmhouse Burger (served with bacon jam, arugula, roasted tomatoes, mustard sauce and a fried egg).

New Skinny cocktails also are available from the bar and feature less than 150 calories. They include Superfruit Martini, the Lo’jito and Skinny Dip Margarita.

The B+B Hot Toddy is dark rum, fennel, coriander, honeycomb, butter and warm goat’s milk.
