Las Vegas police looking for suspects in cellphone store robberies

Las Vegas police are searching for suspects in June cellphone store robberies.

At about 6:30 p.m. June 29, a male and a female robbed a Metro PCS cellphone store at 3739 East Desert Inn Road and a T-Mobile cellphone store around 7:30 p.m. at 8145 West Sahara Ave., police said.

During the robberies the male and female suspects enter the businesses to see if there are customers. If there are customers, they wait until the customers leave and then the male suspect comes in to rob the employee for money. The male suspect used a knife to facilitate the robberies, police said. The suspects fled in an unknown direction of travel.

The male suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 5-foot-8 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, gray shorts, dark shoes and sunglasses.

The female suspect is described as a Hispanic female, about 5-foot-4 and 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, dark shoes and sunglasses.
