Gordon Ramsay Steak inside Paris Las Vegas to open in May

Gordon Ramsay Steak inside Paris Las Vegas is taking shape in time for its May opening. The restaurant is the first Las Vegas venture for celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, the star of the reality television show “Hell’s Kitchen.”

The two-story, 7,500-square-foot restaurant, designed by EDG Interior Architecture + Design, will include a large rendering of Great Britain’s Union Jack on the ceiling and a neon sculpture hanging below.

According to the designer, Gordon Ramsay Steak will “celebrate” Ramsay and London, where he lives, and Paris Las Vegas, which is modeled after the "City of Lights."

The large-scale, neon sculpture was designed by Canadian artist Andrey Berezowdky of SWON Design and is 12 feet, by 12 feet, by 4 feet. The piece took more than a month to create and if laid flat, the hand-blown glass tubes would stretch more than 250 feet.

The menu at Gordon Ramsay Steak will range from traditional steakhouse fare to Ramsay’s signature fish and chips and Shepard’s Pie.
