Good news: Higher graduation rates

A little dose of good news never hurts and this morning it was great to read that Clark County high school kids graduated at a higher rate.

It was always a community embarrassment to have a graduation rate of 50 percent. Last year the rate was 59 percent. And this year it’s up to 65 percent.

Although the numbers are preliminary, it’s still good to hear the news and congrats go out to the district, the teachers and the students.
