MUSIC

Christ Church Episcopal, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will host a concert featuring the Las Vegas Master Singers Chorale at 3:30 p.m. May 20. A goodwill offering will be taken (735-7655).

EVENTS

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will have its annual parking lot sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. The event will also feature a bake sale and food court (732-2052).

Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road, will offer a Progressive Dinner event 6-10 p.m. May 19 featuring a four-course meal, entertainment by Irv Weinberger and Daniel Sinai. Tickets are $25 in advance. The reservation deadline is Wednesday (254-5110).

The Center for Spiritual Living, 1420 E. Harmon Ave., will present Omnipure Transformational Music and Education’s DNA Music with Solfeggio Frequenceis Workshop at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The fee is $35, and includes a CD and the workshop (739-8200).

Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 N. Pavilion Center Drive, will present “Oliver! The Musical” at 3 p.m. today and May 12 and 7 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $5 at the door (241-4349).

The Las Vegas Valley Interfaith Sponsoring Committee will launch the first Las Vegas Valley Community Convention for the Common Good at 6:30 p.m. May 22 in the Student Union Ballroom at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. The broad-based organization will bring voice and hope to families, congregations, businesses and other community institutions that share concerns for the well being of families.
