UNLV men’s golfer Kevin Penner was tied for first in the Sun Bowl College All-America Classic in El Paso, Texas. Penner shot 65-66 Monday for an 11-under 131 total, tied with Alabama’s Cory Whitsett, the defending champion in the annual individual event featuring many of college golf’s top players.
