Condé Nast hails Las Vegas resorts

Condé Nast Traveler published its 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards in its November 2012 issue.

Included in the annual awards is the Top 15 Hotels and Resorts in Las Vegas. Let’s look at this year’s winners.

Wynn and Encore were named (together) the No. 1 resort in the city, with readers citing “outstanding rooms” at Wynn. One reader commented, “The service is second to none, and we love the location.”

At No. 2 in the resorts category is The Palazzo, and the JW Marriott Las Vegas was named No. 3. The fourth spot went to Caesars Palace, and Green Valley Ranch rounded out the list.

As for the top 10 hotels in Las Vegas, Four Seasons took the top spot. One reader commented, “This place is five-star all the way.” The Bellagio came in at No. 2, with The Venetian sliding into third. Mandarin Oriental stole No. 4, and Aria completed the top five. The Cosmopolitan was voted in at No. 6. and No. 7 went to the Trump International.

At No. 8, 9 and 10 respectively are: The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, Wyndham Grand Desert and The Mirage.

Notably, no Las Vegas property made the publications list of the Top 100 hotels in the world, and Las Vegas did not make the Top 10 Cities in the U.S. list.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Survey included 46,476 responses complied by Global Market Insite Inc.
