It’s sometimes hard to pick out the best song title on a Trace Adkins album.
On 2010’s “Cowboy’s Back in Town,” there was no contest: “Whoop A Man’s Ass,” hands down.
On last year’s “Proud to Be Here,” it had to be “Damn You Bubba,” unless the sheer curiosity of finding out what the big guy would do “If I Was a Woman” makes you cue that one up first.
Adkins comes to the Riviera fresh from co-hosting the American Country Awards on Monday, and fresh from minor blowback about wearing a Confederate flag earpiece when he sang “The Christmas Song” at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting.
At least we know he’s brushed up on the song and might even do it, funny title or no.
