Las Vegan Chidi Njokuani will compete in Bellator co-main event in June

Las Vegan Chidi Njokuani will fight former welterweight champion Douglas Lima in the co-main event of a Bellator MMA card in Fresno, California, on June 17, sources close to the organization confirmed to the Review-Journal.

Njokuani, the younger brother of Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Anthony Njokuani, is unbeaten in his last six fights. He is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Ricky Rainey in his Bellator debut in November

Lima lost the welterweight title to Andrey Koreshkov in July after more than a year out of action because of a knee injury. He is 8-2 since signing with Bellator in 2011.

Marcos Galvao will defend the bantamweight title against Eduardo Dantas in the main event for the card, which is scheduled to air live on Spike TV.
