It’s cooler, but you might not notice

The Las Vegas Valley is cooling down, but not significantly.

Today’s high is expected to be 102 degrees, a 10-degree drop from last weekend, with wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour in the late afternoon.

Temperatures are still above average for this time of year and will remain in triple digits throughout the weekend.

The high winds have made the National Weather Service issue a Red Flag Warning for fires until 9 p.m. tonight.
