Las Vegas Club stops taking reservations for hotel rooms

The Las Vegas Club has stopped taking reservations for more than 400 guest rooms at its downtown hotel-casino, a statement issued Thursday by the hotel’s owner said.

“The Las Vegas Club remains open,” said Jonathan Jossel, director of Las Vegas properties for the Tamares Group. “Guest rooms at the property were only available for reservations on the weekends; however, at this time, we will be no longer be accepting any reservations for guest rooms.”

The Las Vegas Club’s weekend room rates over the past 30 days ranged in price from a high of $147 a night to a low of $31.

Jossel said the 22,210-square-foot casino remains open and improvements on the casino floor will continue, but he declined to discuss the hotel’s future.

“We are also evaluating our options for the towers,” Jossel said.

The Las Vegas Club, 18 Fremont St, is owned by the Tamares Group and operated by the Navegante Group, along with the Plaza Hotel and Casino across the street.
