Las Vegas police ask public for help finding robbery suspect

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect they believe robbed three retail stores across the valley.

Three retail stores were robbed between May 21 through Friday, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black woman, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds and in her mid-to-late 20s. Police said she was seen wearing workout clothing and a matted blond wig.

On one occasions, the woman entered a maroon Chevrolet Blazer, and on another she entered a copper-colored Ford Mustang driven by a man described as a heavyset black man, police said.

Metro did not offer details about the retail stores involved in the robberies, or locations of the stores.

Police said anyone with information can call Metro’s robbery section at 702-828-3591, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.

No further information was immediately available.
