Flores homers twice, 51s power past Padres, 11-3

At Cashman Field, Wilmer Flores homered twice, doubled, singled and had four RBIs for the 51s (48-44), who pulled within 1½ games of the Pacific Southern division-leading Padres (51-44).
Flores leads the Pacific Coast League in doubles (33) and RBIs (74).
Matt den Dekker homered among his three hits, and Zach Lutz also homered for Las Vegas.
51s starter Rafael Montero allowed one hit and had two strikeouts in two scoreless innings. The Dominican right-hander was on a 40-pitch limit, as he’s slated to start for the World team in Sunday’s All-Star Futures Game at New York’s Citi Field.
