Accidents clog exit ramps throughout Las Vegas Valley

Multiple accidents have closed several major exit ramps throughout the Las Vegas Valley Friday morning, according to the Regional Transportation Commission.

An accident on the I-15 northbound ramp to the 215 westbound closed that exit.

An accident on the 215 Beltway eastbound ramp entering Interstate 15 southbound closed the ramp for about an hour, but has reopened.

An accident on the ramp from I-15 northbound to U.S. 95 southbound closed the ramp briefly but has reopened.

Earlier Friday morning, three accidents in the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 95 between the Spaghetti Bowl and Las Vegas Boulevard caused traffic to back up on U.S. 95 and I-15 in all directions.

“Everybody keeps wrecking,” Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Jeremie Elliott said. “It clogs the whole area up.”
