Former UFC champ Ronda Rousey wants belt back

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey gave the strongest indication yet that she may be nearing a return to action for the first time since losing the title to Holly Holm in November.
While appearing at a conference in Chicago, Rousey was asked by host Robin Roberts if there is anything she hasn’t done that she hopes to accomplish.
It was an easy answer.
“I (want to) win my belt back,” Rousey said in a video obtained by TMZ Sports.
UFC president Dana White indicated early this year a belief Rousey would likely return to the cage in November or December.
That timeframe would match up perfectly with the UFC’s debut in New York at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 12.
While White has backtracked a bit on the timeline, he has continued to insist she will get a title shot immediately upon her return if she so desires.
Rousey has not discussed when she may come back, but such a definitively stated goal would appear to signal it may be imminent.
While Rousey clearly wants the belt back, a story she relayed in the video also may foreshadow her desire to get another crack at Holm.
After warning the crowd of the graphic language to come, Rousey relayed some advice that her judo champion mom had passed down to Rousey from her own coach.
“Winning’s a (expletive) but revenge is a mother (expletive).”
Holm lost the title to Rousey’s arch-rival Miesha Tate in March and Tate lost it to Amanda Nunes on July 9.
