Power outage caused by car striking pole

A car hit a power pole near Tropicana Avenue and Dean Martin Drive Tuesday morning and left 320 customers without power, according to an NV Energy official.

The accident occurred around 6 a.m. Traffic lights originally not working because of the power outage are now working.

No timetable has been set for when power will return to the area.
