Nevada veterans to get drive-up flu shots Saturday

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center will offer drive-up flu shots Saturday for veterans who are enrolled in the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System and have a VA identification card.

The shots will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the medical center, 6900 N. Pecos Road, North Las Vegas.

“VA is pleased to offer this drive-up flu shot event to honor our veteran patients, allowing them to sit in the comfort of their vehicles as they receive their flu shots,” says a news release Friday about the event.

Veteran motorcycle and car clubs will be on hand to display exotic, classic cars and motorcycles.
