Rollover in Spaghetti Bowl causing delays

One man is in critical condition after his vehicle rolled over on U.S. Highway 95 by the Spaghetti Bowl Tuesday morning.

Nevada Highway Patrol said one male driver rolled his pickup about 7:20 a.m. while headed south on the 95, just before Interstate 15.

He was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition, but highway patrol said they expect him to survive.

Trooper Loy Hixson said the man was not thrown from his vehicle and was probably wearing his seatbelt. He also said alcohol may be a factor in the accident.

“Everyone has got to slow down,” he said.

The incident is still under investigation.

Only the right lane remains open to traffic with closures expected to continue until about 10 a.m.
