Woman dies in northeast Las Vegas hit-and-run

A woman was killed while crossing Nellis Boulevard late Thursday night in a hit-and-run crash, Las Vegas police said.

The woman was in the crosswalk on Nellis Boulevard near Cedar Avenue when she was hit by white four-door car about 8:45 p.m., Las Vegas police said. The car fled the scene.

The woman died at the scene.

This is the 109th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction in 2013.
