Las Vegas police investigate accident involving school bus, pedestrian

John Locher/Las Vegas Review-Journal A camera is mounted on the side of a school bus Friday at the Clark County School District bus yard in Las Vegas. Cameras have been mounted on two school buses to record drivers illegally passing them while stopped for students.

A Clark County School District bus was involved in an accident Friday morning in the eastern part of the Las Vegas Valley.

Las Vegas Police responded to an area near Desert Inn Road and Cabana Drive just after 5:30 a.m.

Lt. Joe Martin said minimal details were available as of 6:30 a.m., but that a pedestrian was involved.

Minor injuries were sustained, but it was unsure by whom, Martin said.
