Rebels hosting four football recruits

UNLV welcomes at least four football recruits to campus this weekend, including two who already committed to the Rebels.

Kicker Conor Perkins (5 feet 11 inches, 170 pounds) and quarterback Kevin Thompson (6-3, 180) said they would play for the Rebels. Perkins attends Green Valley High School, and Thompson is at Auburn (Wash.) Riverside High.

Also visiting are offensive lineman Gavin Peterson (6-5, 275) and defensive lineman Billy Tanuvasa (6-2, 285).

Peterson, who attends Seven Lakes High in Katy, Texas, also reportedly has a scholarship offer from Northwestern State, and will visit that school next weekend. Tanuvasa, who played at Santa Ana (Calif.) College, reportedly has been offered by New Mexico and New Mexico State, and will visit the Aggies next weekend.
