UNLV senior Erin Morris advanced Friday to today’s quarterfinals of the 100-meter hurdles in the NCAA preliminary championships at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Morris finished fourth in her heat and 19th overall with a time of 13.79 seconds. She claimed one of six spots reserved for competitors that placed outside of the top three in their heats.
Cortney Miller, a sophomore who attended Calvary Chapel Christian High School, also will represent the Rebels today in the hammer throw. UNLV’s 4×400-meter relay team of Auzsane Crowe-Carter, Kenia Bonilla, Alva Castillo and Noela Estrada will compete, too.
