Power outage in southwest Las Vegas disrupts traffic signals

A vehicle crashed into a power pole Friday morning near Russell Road and Jones Boulevard, causing a power outage in the southwest valley, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

NHP Trooper Loy Hixson advises drivers in the area to be cautious and implement a four-way stop when approaching non-working traffic signals.

There is still no approximate time for repair, according to NV Power.
