Accident cleared, traffic returns to normal on U.S. 95 at Eastern

An accident on northbound U.S. Highway 95 near Eastern Avenue that caused traffic delays Friday morning has been cleared.

Until about 6:30 a.m., all traffic lanes were closed and traffic was diverted onto the left shoulder to get around the clean-up of the crash. Cars were backed up to Charleston Boulevard.

Drivers were experiencing up to half-hour delays before the travel lanes reopened.
