1 man wounded in shooting on Las Vegas Strip

A man was shot on the Las Vegas Strip early Monday morning after an argument, police said.

Las Vegas police received reports of gunshots near Paris Las Vegas just after 3 a.m., spokesman Micheal Rodriguez said. Two men were arguing near the hotel-casino when one man pulled out a gun and shot the other man.

The man who was shot went to MountainView Hospital with a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound to the leg, he said.

The shooter was detained, and the investigation continues, Rodriguez said.
